KEEPER OF THE FLAME enters into Mastering!!
Hello friends,
Summer is officially upon us and I’m reveling in the riot of color as the blooms pop and the birdsong is everywhere! After a long and very snowy Winter in many parts of the country, it is most welcome to many and I encourage you to drop what you’re doing and just get out there. Celebrate all of Nature’s gifts! Speaking of gifts, I have a playlist for you that embraces “Lazy Summer Afternoons” so I hope you enjoy it. It’s comprised of some of my older catalogue scores, and I have personally curated this for the Summer. You won’t find it anywhere else! News on the new album Keeper of the Flame: I’m heading into the studio for mastering most likely in August and that will wrap up the album but we are pushing the release date back a bit, aiming for a March release. A new release encompasses a lot of work/time/interviews etc. of which you may not be aware and while I hire folks for PR/Radio/Marketing/Social Media/Advertising, there’s a lot of stuff on my shoulders as well. That said and I am sorry to disappoint, but there have been some unexpected health issues which I need to deal with before I can devote my focus there, but I promise you, I’m doing my best to make it worth the wait!
One last iconic quote I’ll share has been known to me for many a year and it resonates deeply:
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, took the one less traveled by and that, has made all the difference.” – Robert Frost
I have always marched to the beat of a different drummer and like Robert, taken the road less traveled. On the new album, one of the scores, Parallel Road, suggests a connection between the physical and spiritual realms – two different realms indeed, but an alignment between them. I think if Robert had a chance to comment, he might well agree, that on some level, two roads might well converge!
