I have a few things to share on 2025’s wrap up that I feel you’ll enjoy hearing. Still was chosen as Textura’s #1 pick in the Ambient/Alternative field for 2025. This happened with my previous album Love Walks Through Rain in 2023, so having been chosen back to back is an exceptional honor!
Also happy to report that Still is on WXPN’s Chuck Elliot’s Top 10 Albums for 2025, another back to back!
Also, I want to thank fans for all the streaming you’re doing! Spotify reported in their wrap up that I had 1.4 Million streams in 2025 along with 154,000 listeners across 167 countries. Great news indeed!
And to all my new subscribers, thank you for following me and signing up for the e-newsletter. At this writing I now have 20K followers on FB!! Things are moving along with the new album for which I originally anticipated a release date of May 2027 but I think you’ll be pleased to hear it will be sooner. Still not sure when in 2026 but that’s the goal at this point. Piano tracks were recorded in November at Imaginary Road Studios, had a lovely session in December with Cellist extraordinaire Eugene Friesen at Sound and Substance with Tom Eaton as Engineer. Premik Russell – Tubbs (Soprano Sax and Alto Flute) stopped by the studio December 29th and we had another great session. Guest musicians Nancy Rumbel (English Horn) and Charlie Bisharat (Violin) will be working remotely in their satellite studios in both Washington and LA respectively, in the next couple months. I won’t be writing again till Spring actually rolls around but I hope to have a clearer time frame for this release date. We will be posting album updates on Social Media so keep an eye out. In the meantime I am wishing you all a great start to the Year – Pop the cork, breathe deeply and let’s embrace HOPE for 2026.
